all time high tonight;

just got back from grandma's,

and she told my aunty that she's been wanting to take a ride on the mrt with grandpa

becos all her neighbours have been telling them what an experience they had when they were on it.

so grandma and grandpa made a pact to sit on the mrt tog,

from changi to boonlay,

when they retire.

but not too long after,

grandpa passed away.

and my grandma has no one to sit on the mrt with any longer.

it's amazing how a simple act of sitting on the mrt from one end to the other can become a love pact.

i've never communicated much to both of them due to the language barrier that we have.

and i realised that i havent been part of their lives yet.

popo, will you ride on the mrt with me?
